Step-lap CRGO Transformer Laminations
The Step-lap CRGO Transformer Laminations design leads to low no-load losses and a low noise level, lateral step-lap enables a favourable assembly for the upper yoke. Every type of CRGO Transformer Cores can be produced in a form of Step lap, over lap, 45° cut, with hole or without hole from every required quality electrical steel up to 800 mm width. Evergreen uses the newest, computerized version of Cut to Length Machines in order to produce Step-Lap CRGO Transformer Laminations Cores.

01 Vertical Step-lap c.r.g.o. Transformer Lamination
With the help of our experienced engineers, we are able to design and develop Vertical Step Lap CRGO Transformer Lamination. About 30 years ago Westinghouse, in its research to reduce costs, invented a novel system of cross step-lap. In this design the overlap at the joints is much less than traditional overlap (3-5 mm compared to 10-15mm) but the shift progresses for 5 to 7 sheets before starting again. A key part of the Westinghouse design is the centre-leg where the notch in the yoke is progressively moved across the yoke according to the number of steps (the centre-leg length remains the same). There are three principle benefits of Westinghouse step-lap, firstly reduced material costs, as less core steel is required for the same losses, secondly faster assembly of the core and thirdly lower noise.
02 Horizontal Step Lap CRGO Transformer Lamination
Innovation is our forte and we strive to design and develop a precision engineered range of Horizontal Step Lap CRGO Transformer Lamination. New and improved magnetic cores for electrical inductive apparatus, and new and improved methods of constructing electrical apparatus, which facilitate the manufacture of such apparatus. The new and improved magnetic cores are of the stacked type, and they utilize different step-lap joints between selected yoke and leg members of the magnetic core. Transformer The new and improved methods include the steps of pre-stacking the leg members, stacking the bottom yoke member while the legs are substantially horizontally oriented, starting at one side of the leg members and progressing to the other side, and stacking the upper yoke member while the legs are substantially vertically oriented, starting from substantially the at one side of the leg members and progressing to the other side, and stacking the upper yoke member while the legs are substantially vertically oriented, starting form substantially the midpoints of the leg members and progressing outwardly in opposite directions, key features of the step lap design is to reduce the losses of the transformers. There has been a constant drive to reduce material and manufacturing costs in the design of distribution transformers. We manufacture Vertical & Horizontal step-lap Core who required step cores for high efficiency transformers from which lowest possible NLL, sound level, magnetizing currents and core assembly time can be reduced / save and it helps to simplifying top yoke insertion and competitive.
